Biological control is a very effective modern and environmentally friendly way of controlling pests in your garden or on crops and ornamentals. We recommend that biological control is best not used alongside old school chemical control, without specialist advice, since some chemicals may harm the beneficial organisms as well as the pests. You should not use biological control organisms on plants that have recently been sprayed with pesticides.
