Our staff includes scientists with broad experience of terrestrial ecotoxicology testing and agrochemical pest screens. We use a range of methods for rearing, including natural diets, artificial diets and factitious prey. We have the expertise to rear a wide range of non target arthropods, including pollinators and foliar species. We also have established rearing methods for pest species including aphids, mites, Lepidoptera, Coleoptera and Diptera.

Most species can be reared to the life stage required. These can often be prepared ready for direct use in tests, by synchronising or preparing within a test system. For example we may be able to set up multi-well plates for high thru-put screens or infest leaf discs for efficacy testing. Most species can be provided at different life stages to suit your requirements. Contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
